This magnetic sash frame is designed for both Brother PR6 and PR10 series machines. The maximum embroidery size will adjust automatically based on the specific machine model it is connected to.
For example:
- PR1000 series models: Maximum embroidery size 360 x 200mm.
- PR6 series models: Maximum embroidery size 300 x 200mm. (This is the largest size achievable on the PR6 series.)

Hooping Fabric in the Magnetic Sash Frame
Fabric Requirements
To ensure safe and stable embroidery:
Do NOT use:
- Very stiff materials that cannot bend to the shape of the frame
- Highly elastic fabrics that shrink back strongly (the magnets can slip off)
- Very thick jackets or padded garments that may scrape the wide table or interfere with machine's movement
Recommended maximum fabric thickness: Approx. 2 mm
Special-coated fabrics (e.g., anti-slip backing) may not clamp securely even when thin.
Removing the Magnets from the Frame
Before you mount the frame onto the machine, remove all magnets from the frame.
Lift the Magnet
Grip one edge of the magnet with your fingers and carefully lift it away from the metal surface.
If the Magnet is Difficult to Remove
1. Slide the supplied magnet lifter tool under one edge of the magnet.
2. Push the handle in the direction shown in the illustrations so the magnet peels off the frame rather than being pulled straight up.
Storage Tip
After use, it is easier to handle the magnets if you store them with a piece of fabric sandwiched between the magnets and the frame.
Attaching magnets directly to bare metal can make them difficult to remove due to the strong magnetic force.
